Gil Manzano

As Director of Training and Development, Gilbert Manzano is responsible for managing and developing a wide range of state-of-the-art training programs for ACI’s clients on a national and international level.  Since joining ACI Specialty Benefits in April of 2007, Gil has dedicated himself to raising awareness of the numerous services ACI offers its clients and has been integral in developing organizational strategies designed to build ACI’s business.

Highly-skilled in conflict resolution, workplace safety, training, recruitment and change management, Gil comes to ACI with over 12 years of Human Resources experience.  Prior to joining ACI, he worked in Human Resources at Gap, Inc.’s luxury brand, Banana Republic, for four and a half years where he was instrumental in recruiting, training and ultimately building teams for seven stores in the San Diego market.  Over the course of his career, Gil has worked in a variety of industries for such notable companies as Sheraton Hotels, the Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group and EDS.

A California native, Gil studied Industrial and Organizational Psychology at San Jose State University.  He enjoys working out at the gym, running, going to the beach and spending time with his family, friends and his dog Sheba.  Gil stays connected to the San Diego business community through his involvement with the Society for Human Resource Management, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Greater San Diego Business Association.
